Louise Cox Williams

Reidsville-Mrs. Louise Cox Williams, 80, passed away on Monday, May 1st, 2017. Funeral services will be held at two o’clock on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at Covington Wesleyan Church. Rev. Ralph Clayton will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Williams was born on July 9th, 1936 in Rockingham County to the late Lonnie Cox and Janie Bailey Cox. She was a member of Covington Wesleyan Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Williams, her grandson, Nicolas Williams and her brother, Wallace Cox. Survivors include two sons, Robert Keith Williams and wife, Hilda; Ricky Allen Williams and wife, Stephanie; one daughter, Robin Williams Richmond and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Coy Williams, McKenzie Williams, Tamara Simmons, Ryan Richmond and Evan Richmond; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Preston Cox and wife, Mary Ann; Buddy Cox and wife, Betty; sisters, Shirley Rickman and husband, Dewey; JoAnn Sutton; Doris Myrick and husband, Leon; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from six until eight o’clock at Covington Wesleyan Church and other times at Mrs. Williams home.
