Loula Mae Slaydon

Loula Mae Slaydon, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday June 15, 2020 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Dr. Greg Robertson officiating. Loula was born on December 26, 1933 and worked 52 years as a supervisor for Vanity Fair, Blue Bell, and Wrangler. She was a dedicated mother and loved her extended family. Loula was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a faithful Godly woman. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Loula was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Lester Slaydon; son, James Edward Slaydon; daughter, Sheryl Slaydon Swift; grandson, Ryan Adam Swift. She is survived by her son, John Randall “Randy” Slaydon; grandson, Sky Lee Tilley; and numerous extended family members.
