Lowanda Warf Singleton

Reidsville: Lowanda Warf Singleton, 57, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 2, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday March 6th at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Lowanda was born in Rockingham County to the late Tony John Warf Sr. and Beulah Mae Adkins Warf. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She especially loved being “pink grandma”. A free spirit, she loved scary movies, music and people; she was always there for her family and friends in their times of need. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Malcolm “Mike” Warf and niece, Robin Reynolds. She is survived by her children, Billy Ray Singleton Jr. (Amanda), Lisa Michelle Singleton (Steven), Stephanie Amanda Singleton (Kaleb); grandchildren, Mary, Elizabeth, Billy Ray, and Emily Singleton, Greyson Jarrett, Noah and Peyton Gibbs; Siblings, Tony “Johnny” Warf Jr., Shirley Warf Campbell and Daryl Adkins; a host of nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family.
