Lucy Jefferson Knight

Reidsville: Lucy Jefferson Knight, 76, of 2672 Iron Works Road passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Lucy was born on October 10, 1934 to the late Woodrow and Margaret Hall Jefferson. She enjoyed Reading, watching the hummingbirds and her favorite reality shows, crossword puzzles and cooking. Lucy loved living life but most of all she loved her family and being close to them. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Archie Lee Knight and brother, Danny Glenn Jefferson. She is survived by her children; Patricia and husband, Mike Hodges, Roger Lee Knight and wife, Gloria and Ronnie Dale Knight and wife, Janet; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
