Luther Baldwin Lowe, 71, of Gibsonville passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 surrounded by his family Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Ronald Critzer and Andy Woodson officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Luther was born to the late Lewis and Maudie Lowe. He retired after 35 years of service with PPG Auto Glass and 10 years with SafeLite Auto Glass. He loved his Oliver Tractor; his mules Cactus Jack, Nick and his faithful dog Boost. He will always be remembered for his iconic pipe, having his hat “locked and loaded” and his harmless flirting. He loved to camp and ride in Uwharrie, Love Valley and Mount Rogers. Most of all he loved his family; he will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Turner and Hilda Peele. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sandy Paschal Lowe; children, Phyllis Jones (Billy), Tracey Woodson (Woody), Dawn Critzer (Ronald), Tom Saunders (Sherry); grandchildren, Taylor Jones (Katie) and Trent Jones (Tristan), Andy Woodson, Lucas Woodson, Vinny Critzer and Skylar Critzer; great grandson, Levi Jones and a large extended Cowboy family. The family would like to offer special thanks for the care and concern given to their loved one by Dr. Hendrickson and the Moses Cone Heart and Vascular Center (C/V ICU).
