Mabel Ruth Revis Gibson

Pelham: Mabel Ruth Revis Gibson, 73, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Annie Penn Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Evergreen Memory Gardens.Mrs. Gibson was born on April 22, 1938 to the late Monroe and Susie Barker Revis. She was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Lynn Chapmon; sister, Dorothy Terry and brothers, Walter and Clyde Revis.She is survived by her brother, James Revis and wife Pat; sisters, Annie Revis Lynch and Elsie Revis Lee and husband, Kendall; several nieces and nephews and special companion, William Chappell.The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of sister, Annie; 161 Lakeview Road.The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Gibson's honor to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
