Maggie Harris Apple

Burlington- Maggie Harris Apple, 82 , of 124 Tarpley Street, Apt. 318, died on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at her residence.Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Apple family cemetery. Rev. David Underwood will be officiating.Mrs. Apple, a native of Rockingham County, was the daughter of the late Roy B. Harris and Frances Stone Harris. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Everette Apple; brother, P. C. Harris and sisters, Lyndell Cooper and Eunice Wall.She is survived by her son, Walter Terrell Apple and wife, Tyron of Elon, NC; grandchildren, Eric T. Apple and wife, Karin of Beaumont, CA and Heather Marie Apple of Carrboro, NC; great-grandchild, Caden William Apple; sister, Margaret Spenser of Winston-Salem, NC; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, October 9 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
