Margaret Smith Anderson

Reidsville, NC – Margaret Smith Anderson, 75, of 220 Pannel Road, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2008 at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Anderson was born in Rockingham County to the late, William and Ida Mae Gray Smith. She worked as a supervisor and was retired from Cone Mills with over 30 years of service. She loved flowers and was an avid fisherman. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Julian Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Anderson Finney and husband, Ricky of the home and Shirley Anderson and husband, Thomas of Greensboro; son, Herbert Wayne Anderson and wife, Peggy of Reidsville; grandchildren, Rebecca Lane and husband, Jeremy, Michelle Anderson and Evelyn Doman; great grandchildren, Ashley Lane, Travon Lane, Jaemin Sohn and Aleesa Doman and a large extended family. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 9, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
