Marie Ann Perkins Mansfield

Marie Ann Perkins Mansfield, 84, of Caswell County went home to be with her Lord on May 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 21, 2021 at Pleasant View Assembly of God Church with Pastor Gary Loftis and Pastor Sandy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 20th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and other times at the home of Robert and Ruth Vernon, 1200 Rice Road, Reidsville. Marie loved fishing and working in her garden until her health began to fail. She loved listening to gospel music and preaching on TV and the TV show Mountain Man. She was a long-time member of Pleasant View Assembly of God Church in Caswell County and of the Pentecostal faith. She retired from Holt Hosiery Mills in Burlington after 40+ years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Mansfield the love of her life for 69 years, her parents, Willis and Edna Perkins; sister, Virginia Perkins; grandson, Rodney Vernon; granddaughter, Rhonda Isley and Edna’s fiancé, Doug Barnes. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Vernon (Robert), Edna Benfield, Kay Stanley (David); stepmother, Hallie Perkins; brothers, Jeff, Wayne (Betty) and Wayland (Nancy); grandchildren, Heather Stanley Williams (Van), Russell Vernon (Amanda), Ronald Vernon (Suzanne), Joshua Benfield (Lindsay), Wayne Stanley (Tonya); great grandchildren, MaKayla, Madison, Morgan, Carter, Parker, Brody, Kendra, Cathan and Gracie; great-great grandchildren, Evan, Ember and Baby Boy Mckinney; many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Marie was loved by all who knew her and by her big smile and blue eyes. She will be missed by all and live on in our memory forever.
