Marie Stewart Tate

Reidsville - Marie Stewart Tate, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Annie Penn Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home one hour prior to service.Mrs. Tate was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Jim and Martha Snider Bean Mabe. She was retired from Unifi with many years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by death of her son-in-law, Ernie McKee.Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Davis McKee and stepson, Wayne Stewart, granddaughters, Melissa (Missy) Vernon, Sandra (Sissy) Wilson, great grandchildren, Timmy Wilson, Breanna Wilson, Adam Bartlett.Wilkerson Funeral Home is assisting the family and condolences may be sent to www.wilkersonfuneral.com.
