Marie Moose Williams

Reidsville: Marie Moose Williams, 78, of 1105 Benton Lane, died on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Penn Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00Pm, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clay Warf and Pastor Shannon Newsome officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mrs. Williams was born in Rockingham County to the late Fred Lee Moose and Lois Warf Moose. She was a graduate of Woman’s College and was a retired elementary school teacher with thirty three years of service at both South End School and Williamsburg School. She was a member of Reidsville Christian Church where she played the organ for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Leigh Williams.She is survived by her husband, Walton Williams of the home; and aunt, Sue Cook of Reidsville. There will be no formal visitation.
