Marilyn Klaven Goldman

Marilyn Ruth Klavan Goldman, 84, passed away peacefully at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

Marilyn was born in Washington, DC to the late Jacob Klavan and Jean Schwartz Klavan. She relocated from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, to Reidsville, North Carolina in 2006. Her most significant passions in life were horses and swimming, from which a great number of her extended family and relationships were both created and flourished.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by, two half-brothers, Stanley Klavan, and Melvin Klavan; half-sister, Bernice Ousley.

Marilyn is survived by her nephews, Sam Kaplan (Hui Ping Koh), Ross Klavan (Eileen), and niece, Elyse Kaplan (David Preiss) as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and a loving extended family.
