Marilyn Marie Bradmon Howerton

Marilyn Bradmon Howerton, 69, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday December 23, 2016 at Baptist Temple with Rev. Paul Warrick officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at Baptist Temple. Marilyn was born December 24, 1946 in Rockingham County to the late William Joseph Bradmon and Kitty Mae King Bradmon. She was a faithful member of Baptist Temple and served in many capacities such as Sunday School Teacher and the pastoral search committee. She was very active in Bible Study Fellowship groups. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved entertaining for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Howerton of the home; son, Brian Howerton and wife, Katey of Carrollton, VA; daughter, Erin Dail of Reidsville; grandchildren: Kenan Dail, Cole Dail, Tyler Howerton and Beckett Howerton; sister, Beth Monday; brothers, Larry and Jerry Bradmon; and uncle, Robert Bradmon.
