Marisa Jo "Reese" McCollum

Summerfield- Marisa Jo “Reese” McCollum, 56, of Summerfield, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County due to complications from dialysis. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Angela Rogers Marlowe officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Marisa was born on May 27, 1960, in Guilford County to the late Joe P. and Katherine Miles McCollum. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She loved to make various crochet items that she gave to friends and family. She loved people, especially her church family. She will always be remembered for her smile. Survivors include her sister, Nancy Conner and husband Wes; her brother, Danny McCollum and wife Debbie; her niece, Caitlin Conner Underhill and husband Evan; her nephews, Brandon Conner and Jeremy McCollum, and her great niece, Madelyn Kate Underhill. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Danny’s home, 6277 NC Hwy 65, Reidsville.
