\r\nReidsville – Marvin Elmer Trent, 86, of 1826 South Park\r\n Drive, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at his residence.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held 3:00\r\nPM Friday, November 28, 2008 at Woodmont\r\n United Methodist\r\n Church with Dr. Carl\r\nJohnson officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.\r\n\r\nMr. Trent was born in Rockingham County to the late Matha Marvin Trent\r\nand Louise Shreve Trent. He was a charter member of Woodmont United\r\n Methodist Church\r\nand retired as the owner and operator of Pine Hill Dairy. He was a past president of the Reidsville\r\nKiwanis Club and was a well respected businessman and community leader. In addition to his parents, he was preceded\r\nin death by a sister, Marjorie T. Justice.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 66\r\nyears, Lucille Carter Trent of the home; son, M. Wayne Trent and wife, Daphne\r\nC. Trent of Apex, NC and Pawley’s\r\nIsland, SC; daughters, Patricia Trent Hubbard and husband, Larry of Greensboro,\r\nJoan Trent Miles of Reidsville; grandchildren, David Wayne Trent of Apex, NC,\r\nJulia T. Cunningham and husband, Matthew of Westchester, OH; sister, Sara Trent\r\nAngel and husband, Jack of Etowah, NC.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends\r\none hour prior to the service at Woodmont\r\n United Methodist\r\n Church on Friday, other\r\ntimes the family will be at the residence. \r\n
