Mary Ann Hodgin

Reidsville: Mary Ann Hodgin, 74, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., at Holy Infant Catholic Church with Father Frank Seabo officiating. Burial will follow at Fairgrove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will have a Celebration of Life receiving friends at the Fellowship Hall at Fairgrove following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Infant Catholic Church or Fairgrove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hodgin was born on June 25, 1943, in Guilford County to the late Mary Newby Pegram and Edward Elijah Pegram. She was a devoted catholic, a member of the Telephone Pioneers and loved working in the Rockingham County School System. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Benedict Pegram, and her sister Monica Pegram. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Hodgin, Sr; two sons, Joseph Hodgin, Jr and Jeffrey Hodgin, Tonya; three grandchildren, Garrett, Gracie, and Addington; several siblings, Butch Pegram; Sarah Haynes, Robert; Chester Pegram; Patricia Simmons, David; Steven Pegram, Janice; and Roger Pegram, Carol; sister-n-law Forest Pegram and numerous nieces and nephews.
