Mary Busick Bowen

Reidsville – Mary Busick Bowen, 81, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Annie Penn Hospital.Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 26, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Mary was born in Rockingham County to the late Banks Algin and Ada Payne Busick. She was a retiree of the American Tobacco Company, a member of Baptist Temple Church and a faithful giver to TCT. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Edgar Bowen; son, Wayne Bowen; brothers, Charlie, Herman and George Busick; sisters, Nettie Clayton, Helen Wise and Aura Lee Hill and a grandchild, Gilda Bowen.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda B. Chrismon; grandchildren, Celeste C. Gunter, Keith R. Chrismon, Jr., Kimberly C. Ruiz, Lorie Bowen and William Bowen; seven great grandchildren: brother, B.A Busick and wife, Bette; sisters, Edna Martin and husband, Roy and Louise Minter; numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 6-8 pm. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence..Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
