Mary Louise Dixon Johnson

Reidsville – Mary Louise Dixon Johnson, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mary was born in Rockingham County to the late Henry Stokes Dixon and Alice Fay Edwards Dixon and was a graduate of Reidsville High School and Elon College. She was a retiree of G.W. Apple and Sons where she was employed for many years. As member of Community Baptist Church she served as pianist and organist in her early life there. Survivors include her husband, Albert Carlton Johnson of the home; brother, Henry Cecil Dixon and wife, Sandra W. Dixon of Amherest, Va.; sister-in-law, Carol Adams of Reidsville and several nieces and nephews.
