Mary Marie Hill Johnson

Reidsville - Mary Marie Hill Johnson, 76, of Brian Center of Eden, passed away on March 28, 2009 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Preece and Rev. Wayne Smithey officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born in Westfield, NC to the late Glenn William and Phobe Moorefield Hill. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Ashland Road Baptist Church. Mary was a devoted, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family. Along with her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burt Johnson, one son, one daughter and two grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Robert Ernest Johnson and wife, Becky, James Howard Johnson and wife, Karen, Roy Edward Johnson and wife, Angie all of Reidsville; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn "G.W." William Hill and wife Kathlyn of Walkertown; sister, Betty Jo Adams and husband, Jessie of Reidsville and son-in-law, Larry Lovings The family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from to 6 to 8 PM and other times at 397 Grady Road, Reidsville. Wilkerson Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
