Mary Hill Lovelace

Mary Hill Lovelace, 73, of 8261 NC Hwy 700, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 16, 2016, at Victory Baptist Church, 2073 Oregon Hill Road, Ruffin, NC with Pastor Scott Heffner officiating. The burial will follow at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at Timmy and Shannon’s home (9669 US Hwy 29 Business). Mrs. Lovelace was the daughter of the late, Alfred and Elizabeth Ward Hill. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church. In years past, she enjoyed dancing and going to the beach. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nichodemus Lovelace. Mrs. Lovelace is survived by her children, Teresa Lovelace Bass and husband, Clifton of N. Myrtle Beach, Todd Lee Lovelace and wife, Alicia and Timothy Ward Lovelace and wife, Shannon all of Ruffin; grandchildren, Beth and Karl Howell, Victoria Stone and husband, Matthew, Todd Lovelace, Jr., Daniel Lovelace, Nick and Heather Lovelace; great grandchildren, Bubba and Lucas Lovelace; sister, Shirley Hill; brothers, David Hill and wife, Linda, Ray Hill and wife, Brenda, Jimmy Hill and a large extended family.
