Dave Huggins officiating.Mrs. Hoggard was born in Rockingham County to the late Robert “Bob” and Mattie Jones Coleman. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was passionate about knitting and loved working with flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Hoggard; sisters, Helen Hanner and Anne Coleman; brothers, Tom, Earl, Paul, Turner, Bill and Red Coleman.Mrs. Hoggard is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne Courts of Gainesville, FL; step-daughter, Pat House and husband, George of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Patrick, and Tammy; numerous nieces and nephews and 3 sisters-in-law, Martha Coleman, Chestina Coleman and Helen Coleman.The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service, at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2531 Flat Rock Road, Reidsville, NC 27320.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
