Mary Frances Hundley Walker

Eden – Mary Frances Hundley Walker, 70 of 1331 Chumney Loop Road, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 17, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 19, 2010 Rock of Ages Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Bray and Rev. James Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Walker, Kyle Lawrence, Adam Hundley, Blake Hundley, Ricky Walker, Gary Hutchens, Richie Darnell and Rodney Lovelace. Mary Frances was born July 18, 1940 in Rockingham County to the late Dillard and Pearl Harris Hundley. She was a homemaker and former teacher and secretary of Rock of Ages Baptist Church. She was an active and faithful member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and member of the church choir. Survivors include her husband, who she married on October 24, 1959, Henry Wayne Walker of the home; daughter, Virginia Walker Matney and husband, Amos of Spencer, VA; sons, Henry Wayne “H. W.” Walker, Jr. and wife, Kim of Ruffin, Donald Glenn Walker and wife, Melissa of Reidsville, Jason Landon Walker and wife, Ginger of Eden; brothers, James Dillard Hundley of Wilmington and David Lee Hundley and wife, Robin of Eden; Me Maw had eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 18, 2010 from 6-8 pm. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence. The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses LeAndra , Misty and Stephanie.
