Mary Williams King

Reidsville-Mary "Lettie" Williams King, 96, of Penn Nursing Center, died on Saturday, May 9, 2009.Funeral services will be held services with will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery on Ashley Loop Road. Mrs. King was born in Henry County, Va. to the late William Martin and Cora Lee Shular Williams. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Broadus King and two sisters. Survivors include sons, Billy R. King and wife, Becky of Reidsville, Elmer H. King and wife, Mary also of Reidsville; daughter, Ruby A. Harmon and husband, Ishmael of Reidsville; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Williams and sister, Arlene Griffith, both from Reidsville. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, May 11 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. and other times at 109 Morgan Lane.Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 7860 NC Highway 87 N, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320.
