Mary Jane Martin

Reidsville: Mary Jane Martin, 80, 1214 Richardson Drive, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Annie Penn Hospital. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Doug McLeroy officiating. Mary Jane was born in Rockingham County to the late Posey and Pauline Davis Martin. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church and loved to sing in the choir. She worked for the Rockingham County School system for over thirty years and taught school in Wentworth and Stoneville. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her great-aunt, Fannie Bell Davis. She is survived by her son, Mike Martin of the home. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
