Mary Sue Kennon Murrell

Mary Sue Kennon Murrell, 93, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Brian Center of Eden. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Milton Kennon officiating. There will be no formal visitation however the family will be at the home of her brother, Earl Kennon, 502 Fernwood, Ave. Sue was born in Rockingham County to the late Joe and Mary Gover Kennon and was a homemaker. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Snead and husband, Jackie; son, Gene “Buddy” Murrell; grandson, Jackie Dwayne Snead ( Sharon); great granddaughter, Brooke Roberts (Josh); great great grandson, Dominic Roberts; brother, Earl Kennon and numerous nieces and nephews.
