Mary Frances Wray

Reidsville – Mary Frances Wray 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 25th, 2018. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Jerry Strader officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:00 P.M one hour prior to the service and other times at the home. Mary Frances was born to the late Norman Pryor and Ellen Hopkins Sheckells in Cascade Virginia. A natural home maker, she loved to clean and cook. She also loved to fish and garden. She loved her flowers but more than anything she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband O.C Wray and son Wayne Wray as well as 5 brothers and sisters. Frances is survived by her daughter, Pamela Wray (Michael); step children, Malinda Childress, and Garry Wray; grandchildren, Amy Witty (Stephen), T.J. Annas (Becca), Curtis Wray (Mary Ann), William Annas (Angela) and Yolanda Hernandez; great grandchildren, Abby Witty, Chloe Annas, Izabella Annas, Emma Annas and Erin Clifton; Along with a large extended family. The family would like to issue a special thanks to Hospice of Rockingham County, a special niece and granddaughter for their extra care and concern for Frances.
