Maude Bolden Priddy

Reidsville: Maude Bolden Priddy, 92, of 877 Wolf Island Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016, at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2016, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Larsen officiating. The burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Maude was born on September 12, 1924, in Rockingham County to the late James E. Bolden and Margie Jarrett Bolden. She retired from American Tobacco after 44 years of service. She was a member of the American Tobacco Retiree’s Breakfast Club. Maude was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for 63 years where she held many offices and was also a Sunday School teacher. She was an avid fisherman and also loved travelling and shopping. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald William Priddy and eight siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Dowl Priddy and Cale William Priddy; her daughter-in-law, Joyce Pulliam Priddy; a brother, Jimmy Bolden; two sisters, Jackie Neal and Lucille Tilley, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church, Nicaragua Mission Trip Fund, 1095 County Home Rd., Reidsville, NC 27320.
