Melba Stanley Paschal

Reidsville- Mrs. Melba Stanley Paschal, 91, of Reidsville, NC, died on January 14, 2014, in Reidsville. Mrs. Paschal was born in Caswell County, NC, on September 3, 1922, to W.A. “Pete” and Sarah Elizabeth “Sally” Walker Stanley. She was a member of Burton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She sang in the choir and also sang with the Paschal Quartet. She loved to sing, to cook, her flowers and especially her grandchildren. Melba Paschal is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer R. Paschal, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children, Eunice Hall and husband, Louis of Reidsville, Leon Paschal and wife, Ann of Ruffin, Wayne Paschal and wife, Brenda of Reidsville and Betty Crawford and husband, Floyd of Reidsville; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive visitors at Burton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 184 Cook Florist Rd. from 6-8 PM, on Thursday, January 16, 2014, and other times at 1062 Rockingham Lake Rd., Reidsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Burton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Burton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
