Melvin Todd Watson

Reidsville- Melvin Todd Watson, 47, of 540 Drum Road, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Dr. Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. He is survived by his son, Joshua Todd Watson and his wife, Mandy; his grandchildren, Kynli Reece Watson and Sophia Rylan Watson; and his mother, Ann Richardson Watson. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Watson; a sister, Faye Gurthie and also his grandparents, Essie and LT Watson and Mary and Albert Richardson. He was an employee of RF Micro and left behind many friends and family. Todd loved fishing, golf and especially painting and drawing, and was a lover of music. He was hard-working and loved his dog, “Coby.” Todd shared a special relationship with several friends, Randy Dockery, Sandy Southard, and Randal Stanley. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 11th from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel in Reidsville and at other times at the residence.
