Michael Clayton Durham

Reidsville – Michael Clayton Durham, 73, of 925 Camp Dan Valley Road, passed away on Sunday March 20, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with full military rites. Mr. Durham was born in Rockingham County to the late Russell and Elizabeth Durham and served in the US Air Force stationed on Okinawa Japan. He retired from Cummins Atlantic in Greensboro and worked at Reidsville Metal Works part time following his retirement. He was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and was the former photographer for the church. Also, he was a member of the VFW and the Greensboro Rail Chapter Volunteers. His hobbies included photography and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Durham; son, Roger Murphy and wife Saundra of Reidsville; brother, J.R. Durham and wife, Nan, of Charles City, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. and other times at the residence.
