Michael Anthony Land

Michael Anthony Land, 53, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at his home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mike was born in Rocking ham County to the late Woodrow and Marian Stanley Land and was a former employee of Kmart Distribution. He was a gun collector, enjoyed the mountains and loved tending his tomatoes. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharron Land and brother, Kenny Land. Survivors include his nephew, Brian Land and wife, Amanda and their children, Brian “B” Land and Tyler Land and many aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be no formal visitation.
