Reidsville – Michael Glenn McCollum, 46, of 140 Massey Creek Road, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The interment will follow in the Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery.Michael was born in Guilford County and was formerly the owner and operator of McCollum Enterprises. He enjoyed woodworking and loved studying and following the financial markets. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Everette McCollum.He is survived by his father, William “Bill” E. McCollum and wife, Faye of the home; brothers, Garland McCollum and wife, Ruby of Madison, NC and Chris McCollum and wife, Martha of Baltimore, MD; sister, Tammy Bognar and husband, Steve of Appomattox, VA; step sisters, Pamela Glisson and husband, Carlos of Georgia and Kim Johnson of Madison, NC; seven nieces and nephews and extended family.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Saturday, July 4, 2009 one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 – 11:00 AM and other times at the home.
