Michael William Shelton

Reidsville: Michael William Shelton, 54, of 2725 Wentworth Street, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Venable officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home. The burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Michael was born in Rockingham County and worked as a cabinet maker for Kelly’s Cabinet Shop for over 30 years. He was a loving son and brother. He enjoyed the outside and working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Shelton. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Priddy Shelton of the home; brother, Roger Shelton and wife, Barbara; sister, Lisa Shelton Chrismon and husband, Mike all of Reidsville; nieces, Katie Shelton and Grace Chrismon and nephews, Jamie and Isaac Chrismon. The family would also like to recognize Keith and Jennifer Hodges and their children, Richard, MaKenzy and David; David and Diane Brown and their son, Travis; Harold and Jennifer Holt and Stephen Holt all of whom Michael loved very much.
