Michele Ann Wilcenski Printz, of Yanceyville NC, also known as, “Missy, Mom, Mountain Momma” born February 20, 1968, in Poughkeepsie NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 29, 2023.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastors Michael Kent and Mitch Cifers. The family will receive friends following the service.
Michele was employed with the Orange County, NC District Attorney’s office and was certified by the state of North Carolina as a paralegal. She was professional, hard working.
Michele is survived her husband, Daniel “Dan” G. Printz Jr. “Dan and Missy” were married 31, precious and beautiful years. She is also survived by her son, Jacob Samuel Printz, his girlfriend Tuesday Foust of Graham NC, her parents Leonard “Lennie” and Paula Dalbo Wilcenski of Danville Va., her brother Steven Wilcenski his wife Kim and nephew Holden of Cary, NC, step sons Daniel Printz (Amanda and 4 children), Kyle (Eva-3 children) and two fur-babies Apollo an Oden.
Michele had a smile that could light up any room. Her laughter was infectious and would most likely get her and her friends in trouble at the most inopportune time (usually church and get them called out by the preacher!) She had a joy in her heart that overflowed to those around her.
Michele loved reading, especially her bible and doing her devotions daily. Music was one of the things that brought joy to her heart, and she especially enjoyed Broadway musicals. She was a huge “Tom Petty” fan, but her favorite band of all time was “Chuck Mountain”, the band that her son Jacob plays the drums for. She would “follow” the band most everywhere they went to see “her boy” play those drums. She was gentle, compassionate, and loved with a pure heart. She was someone that others naturally were drawn to. Even the hummingbirds whom she fed from her hands.
She enjoyed spending the holidays with her family and her brother Steve and his family. She loved vicious and competitive “Uno” games with her friends. Her and Eva, could even use “mental telepathy-to beat the guys, most of the time.
She was a loving and devoted wife, and enjoyed spending time camping with Dan, just sitting by the water with a cup of coffee. She was a wonderful mom to Jacob, encouraging him to follow his dreams. She was a perfect, devoted daughter and loved to travel with her parents every chance she could. Michele was a loyal friend. She loved her Lively Stones Baptist Church family and friends. Of all the attributes that could be spoken about Michele, her faith in her Lord Jesus Christ is the most precious. She knew without a doubt, that when she went to “sleep” on this earth, she would wake up, “cancer free” in the arms of Jesus. I have no doubt, she is having that cup of coffee with “Grandma Dalbo” right now.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the North Carolina Breast Cancer Association and to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
