Mildred Canady Pryor

Reidsville: Mildred Canady Pryor, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 O’clock Noon, Thursday December 22, 2016 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Gaylord Dix officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Pryor was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late, Alvis and Mary Canady. She was a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. After many years of service, Mrs. Pryor retired from 1st Federal Savings and Loan. She was committed to her faith, loved her family and enjoyed working outside. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pryor; her brother, Vernon Canady and her sister, Minnie Canady Martin. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Pryor of the home; her brothers, Ross Canady and Ronnie Canady and wife, Susan all of Reidsville; her sister-in-law, Nancy Canady of Lexington, NC.
