Mildred Smith Kendrick

Greensboro: Mildred Smith Kendrick, 75, devoted wife, mother and grandmother of 310 Guerrant Street, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Reidsville with Rev. Adrian Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kendrick was born in Rockingham County to the late Moses Roscoe and Melva Wright Smith and was a homemaker. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Otha Lee Smith. Survivors include her husband, George Kendrick; sons, Keith Kendrick and wife, Joanne and Mark Kendrick; daughter, Pam Causey and husband, Rob; grandchildren, Melissa Simmons and husband, Justin, Ethan, Bryce and Cassie Causey; brothers, Eugene Smith and Larry Smith and sisters, Ruby Morton and Hazel Willis. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
