Mildred Pinnix Long

Mildred Pinnix Long, 75, of Pelham, took her Heavenly flight on Friday, March 24, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating.

Mildred was  born in Rockingham County to the late Calvin Pinnix and Loree Branch Pinnix.  She retired from MoHawk Carpet, formerly known as Fieldcrest Mills with over 40 years of service.  She was an active and charter member at Freedom Baptist Church.  She was a very giving person and had a very dedicated love for her family.  She had a great love for all animals! In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jackson Long; sister, Faye Hutchins and brother, Harold Leroy Pinnix.

She is survived by her brothers, Melvin Pinnix and wife, Ruby, Junior Pinnix and wife, Kerry, Sherwood Pinnix and wife, Janice, and Ernest Pinnix and wife (Barbara); along with numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Rodney Hodges.
