Mildred Draughn Myers

Ruffin- Mrs. Mildred Draughn Myers, 89, of Ruffin, passed away on Saturday, September 5th, 2015. Mrs. Myers was born in Henry County, Virginia to the late Logan B. Draughn and Mary Grubbs Draughn. She loved yard work and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Myers; brothers, Coolidge, Alfred and Phillip Draughn; sister, Kathleen Draughn Gregory. Survivors include four nephews, Mark, Mike, Eddie and David Draughn and one niece, Debbie Draughn. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at eleven o’clock at Danview Cemetery in Eden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Hasanaj and the staff of Morehead Nursing Center for Mrs. Myers’ care.
