Mozella Lambert Corum

Reidsville: Mozella Lambert Corum, 86 of 602 Wentworth Street, went home in the arms of her Lord on November 11, 2009. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. James Hodges and Dr. Harold Venable officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Corum, Jason Corum, Shawn Corum, Jeremy Lankford, Morris Pruitt, Michael Southard and Jimmy Jones.Mrs. Corum was born July 1, 1923 in Princeton WV to the late James Frank Lambert, and Eva Belle Blevins Lambert Deskins, and her stepfather Woodrow Deskins.Mrs. Corum was a retired worker from North-End and Moss St. Elementary Schools and was a Loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Mrs. Corum was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W Corum, brothers, Clarence and James C. Lambert, half brothers, Harold and Ray Deskins, half sister, Shirley Handy Reeves. She is survived by sister, Evelyn Ford, half brother, Jack Deskins and wife Phyllis. She is survived by her children, son Clyde F. Corum and wife Shelia, by daughter Marsha Lankford and husband Ronald, Son, Roger Corum, also 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, beloved friend and caregiver, Irene Shropshire and loyal pets, Lance and Honey.The family will receive friends and family at Wilkerson Funeral home on Saturday from 7-9 pm and other times at the home of her daughter Marsha Lankford, 606 Wentworth St. Reidsville
