Myrtle Hunt Jacobs

Reidsville: Myrtle Hunt Jacobs of 1041 McCoy Road passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Wesley Long community Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Daves officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Jacobs was born April 7, 1933 and was preceded in death by her parents Doteridge and Lula Mae Hunt, her husband, N.L. Jacobs, three brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker , loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and going on vacations with her family to White Lake and Myrtle Beach. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Betty Billingsley and husband, Wayne; Carol Williams; sons, Keith Jacobs and wife, Lori; Taylor Jacobs and wife Angel; Tim Jacobs and wife Amy; grandchildren, Ashley Jacobs, Brooke Jacobs, Cody Williams, Holly Billingsley, Kassi Jacobs, Harley Williams and Dalton Jacobs, all of Reidsville; sister, Anna Neal Barton of Fairmont, NC and several nieces, nephews and many loving in-laws. The Jacobs family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Regional Cancer Center at Wesley Long Community Hospital and a very special thanks to Dr. Donald Murinson and his staff. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1041 McCoy Road.
