Nancy Pegram Gordon

Reidsville: Nancy Pegram Gordon, 78, of 1910 South Park Drive, passed away on August 9th, 2015 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. Mrs. Gordon was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late, Fred and Mary French Pegram. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had a big caring heart that attended to everyone’s needs. She was a very faithful servant at Monticello UCC, serving in many capacities such as Sunday school teacher, choir member, deaconess, a leader in the Ladies Circle. As a volunteer at Annie Penn Hospital she touched many lives with her compassionate heart and infectious smile. Nancy was faithful to send cards expressing her love for whatever occasion. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Burnice Gordon. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Hubbard and husband Lonnie of Reidsville; her son, Jeff Gordon and wife, Theresa of Browns Summit; grandchildren: Dylan Gordon, Greyson Gordon, and Beka Hubbard; sisters: Pat Shillinglaw of Jamestown, Faye Grogan of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Nell Gordon of Browns Summit; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 11 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
