Naomi Comer McGehee Johnson

Reidsville – Naomi Comer McGehee Johnson, 90, previously of 431 Huffines Mill Road and the Carolina House passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at New Lebanon Congregational Christian Church with Dr. Mark Harris and Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Mrs. Johnson was born in Bethany, July 16, 1917 to the late Numa and Claudia Sharpe Comer. She was retired from MacField in Reidsville, NC. She was a member of New Lebanon Congregational Christian Church.   Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years and father of her children, Robert Lee McGehee, her sons, Clyde McGehee, Numa McGehee, Fred McGehee, Richard McGehee and Jerry McGehee; her sister, Nettie Paschal; her brother, Fletcher Comer and her second husband, Hunter Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Gary McGehee; grandchildren, Steve McGehee, Stephanie Andrews, Kimberly Rosier, Stewart McGehee, Numa McGehee, Miller McGehee and Ricky McGehee; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Claude Comer of Burlington, NC and daughters-in-law, Margaret McGehee and Beverly Bradshaw.
