Nell "Athala" Chapmon Kuhl

Miami, FL.– Nell “Athala” Chapmon Kuhl, 77, of Miami Florida, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at her residence. There will be a private service and interment.Athala was born in Rockingham County to the late W.O. and Margaret Smith Chapmon and attended Reidsville High School. She lived in Miami for the past 55 years and was employed by AT&T for 35 years. Her retirement years were spent enjoying her children, grandchildren, playing bingo and watching ball games. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert J. Kuhl and a sister, Louise C. King. Survivors include her sons, Rick Kuhl and wife, Barbara of Miami, FL. and Bill Kuhl and wife, Wanda of Cumming, GA.; grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Kuhl of Miami, FL. and Jared Kuhl of Cumming, GA.; sisters, Rhodalia C. Eaton of Reidsville, Colleen C. Chrismon of Brown Summit, Pete C. Pate of Greensboro, Anita C. Dove of Madison, Jennie C. Banfield of Reidsville, Glenna C. Canady of Tampa, FL. and Hester C. McKinney of Birmingham, AL; brother, Buddy Chapmon of Randleman.The family will be at the home of Jennie Banfield, 2671 Ashley Loop Road, Reidsville, following the service.
