Reidsville – Nellie Brintle Cobb, 91, of 701 Brintle Road, passed away on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at Annie Penn Hospital following a short illness.Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Underwood officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.Mrs. Cobb was born in Caswell County where she lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Nannie Massey Brintle. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, professional seamstress and farmer. She loved the outdoors, raising gardens, growing flowers and attending the farm animals. She was a community minded person, helping her friends and neighbors by working with them and caring for the sick. She was always willing to give of herself for others. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and attended Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Cobb is survived by one daughter, Geneva Paschal and husband, Garland; three granddaughters, Renea Myers and husband, Dan, Tracey Anderson and husband, Rick and Jennifer Rash and husband, Robbie; four great grandchildren, Katie Rash, Nicolas Myers, Andrew Rash and Meredith Anderson; four step grandchildren; Megan Anderson, Mandy Anderson, Jonathan Myers and Justin Myers.The family will receive friends, Friday, January 28 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at her home. Special thanks to Bayada Nursing Care and special caregiver, Angela Watlington.In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Susan Newcomb, 909 Oakview Loop, Yanceyville, NC 27379.
