Nellie Paschal Mansfield

Reidsville – Mrs. Nellie Paschal Mansfield passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at Pleasant View Assembly of God at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gary Loftis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mansfield was born in Caswell County on August 27, 1928 to her late parents Harvey H. and Mattie Huskey Paschal. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robin Hood “Dude” Mansfield and her son, Robert Michael Mansfield, daughter-in-law Brenda Mansfield, three grandchildren, eight brothers and three sisters. She was a faithful member of Pleasant View Assembly of God. She loved her Lord and was a devoted worker in the nursery department. She was a retired farmer and homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Nellie is survived by her sons: Chuck and Mark Mansfield, and Mitchell Mansfield and wife Dana; daughters: Kathy Garrison and husband Randy, Judy Jenkins and husband Bill, and Angie Johnson and husband Roy; 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren; a sister, Irene Shelton. She has special daughter-in-laws, Kathy Williams Mansfield and Deborah Hall Mansfield, and numerous special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and family Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 till 8:00 PM and other times at the home, 300 Parkland Road, Reidsville.
