Ruffin – Nicodemus “Nick” Lovelace, 70, of 2300 Oregon Hill Road passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at his home.A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Victory Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Heffner and Rev. Bland Leebrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Lovelace was born in Caswell County to the late W.T. and Ester Perkins Lovelace. He was a retiree of Burlington Industries and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Lovelace.Survivors include his wife, Mary Hill Lovelace of the home; sons, Todd Lovelace and wife, Lisa and Timmy Lovelace and wife, Shannon all of Ruffin; daughter, Teresa Bass and husband, Cliff of Summerfield; grandchildren, Daniel Lovelace, Nicholas Lovelace, Victoria Lovelace, Todd Lovelace, Jr., Beth Howell, Karl Howell, Heather Lovelace; step granddaughters, Marcia Bibee and husband, Tim and Tonie Towery and husband, Jamie; four step great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Brinson, Vivian Wyatt both of Reidsville, Georgia Atkins of Thomasville, Ann Fatool and Irene Rogers of Florida; special niece, Leah Brewer; special brother-in-law, Jimmy Hill; special friend, Tom Howell; special Hospice nurse.
