Norman Ball

Summerfield –Norman Ball, 66, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Charity Baptist Church, 4079 Battleground Avenue with Pastor Roland Shepley officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 – 12:45 P.M. on Thursday at Charity Baptist Church. Mr. Ball was born on August 30, 1951, in Bryson County, NC to Mary Jane Anthony Ball and the late Robert Ball. He was a faithful, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church and was devoted to serving God and loved God’s creation. He taught married couples and adult Sunday school classes. Norman was also involved in other ministries at Beacon Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida while he lived there. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Lois Gay Ball; his son, Dustin Shane Ball; three grandchildren, Kristina, April and Tyler Ball; his mother, Mary Jane Anthony Ball; his sister, Sarah Louise Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews.
