Ruffin: Ola Mae Stump, 93, of 733 Dickerson Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating.
Ola Mae was born on November 3, 1921, in Rockingham County to the late Lewis M. and Mattie Burnette Dickerson. Her home was always open to family and friends where they all enjoyed home cooked meals. She loved cooking, canning and gardening.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by the love of her life of 69 years, Henry Edward Stump; an infant daughter, six brothers, two nieces and four nephews.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to her niece, Betty Anne Lipford and husband Jack and also to a very special friend, Ginger Edwards for the care they gave Ola Mae.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, July 20, 2015, from 6-8 P.M. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
