Oland Lewis Thore

Reidsville – Oland Lewis Thore, 90, of 146 Conner Road passed away, Friday, April 16, 2010 at his home. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Puryear and Rev. Darrell Campbell officiating. Mr. Thore was born in Stokesdale, North Carolina to the late Jessie and Elizabeth Mills Thore. He was a veteran of the US Army and a retiree of Blue Bell. He was a member of Flat Rock United Methodist Church, and attended Penn Memorial Baptist Church with his wife. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Conner Thore and a son, Charles Wesley Thore. Survivors include his son, Bob Thore and wife, Aileen of Blairs, Va.; four grandchildren and four step grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 18th from1-5 PM at the home.
