Pamela Ann "Pam" Dickerson

Pamela Ann "Pam" Dickerson, 62, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019 at her home. A graveside funeral service will be held at the Mabe Family Cemetery, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at 345 N. St. John Street, Burlington, NC. Pam was born in Rockingham County. She had a successful high school basketball career and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play all sports in her later years. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. Her time was spent cooking for the grandchildren or cheering for them on the sidelines. She especially enjoyed riding her motorcycle and being a member of Independent Bikers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Dickerson and her fiancé, Quinton Durham. Pam is survived by her mother, Juanita Mabe Dickerson of Reidsville; her father, Robert “Bobby” Dickerson of Burlington; her daughters, Pamela Michelle Joyner and Monica Foster and Danny Battle all of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Billy Joyner, III and wife, Stephanie, Nariah Joyner, Monshé Martin, Rodney Riggins, Quinton Riggins and Tyson Riggins; her brother, Gary Dickerson and wife, Renee of Reidsville; and a large extended family.
